The SimStack Motor Driver Expansion Board provides 8 independent H-bridges for flexible simulator applications. Up to seven boards can be stacked on a SimStack Foundation Board to control up to 56 motors, and each channel supports speed and direction control, freewheeling and braking. The board drives brushed DC motors, stepper motors, air-core motors, DC resolvers, and resistive instruments including left-zero and centre-zero variants.

Typical uses
- Operate small motors on gauges such as altimeters or trim gauges
- Control low-current stepper motors
- Drive air-core motors (Sin and Cos) found in vehicle instrument clusters
- Command DC resolvers (Sin and Cos) from legacy Frasca and AST simulators
- Single-direction resistive gauges for temperature or pressure
- Bi-directional resistive gauges for turn indicators, slip indicators, or zero-centre ammeters
