Simulator Solutions was founded by two long-time simulator builders who set out to solve the interfacing problems they kept running into themselves.
Rodney Redwin — Founder & Director
Rodney brings over 20 years of experience spanning the IT and simulation sectors. His background as a flying instructor, combined with IT expertise, naturally positioned him for the simulation industry. He began as a flying instructor and charter pilot before moving into IT, working as a business analyst, project manager, and disaster-recovery / business-continuity manager for various organisations. Rodney holds a Master of Business and a Bachelor of Aviation.
John Golin — Founder & Director
With over 20 years in IT, John understands how technology effectively supports business operations. He discovered aptitude for coding during his university studies and merged it with an interest in aeronautics through personal simulator projects. Working with Hoyts Cinemas in Adelaide, his career took him from location manager in Adelaide to Field Systems Manager across Hoyts Australia and New Zealand, bringing him to Sydney. From there John moved into senior IT Operations Management roles in critical broadcast television environments. John holds a Bachelor of Science and ITIL certification.
