Simulator Solutions provides a conversion kit suited to most modern MCDUs. The SimStack MCDU Conversion Kit supplies replacement components that let the MCDU front panel — keyboard, backlighting and annunciators — work with contemporary simulator software.
The kit eliminates aging, costly internal hardware and removes dependencies on multiple ARINC buses and aircraft-grade power requirements (115V AC @ 400 Hz).

Conversion Kit Features
- One SimStack Foundation Board interfacing with:
- Keyboard matrix
- Analogue screen-brightness knob
- Annunciators
- Backlighting
- A colour LCD display with 800 × 600 resolution
- A custom-cut, ground-glass insert (with borders) to cover and protect the LCD screen
- Ethernet and VGA or HDMI connectors, plus an optional 4-pin Molex power plug, for easy simulator integration
- A cover plate to support the LCD display and fill the space left after removing the original CRT
